If you are are frantically looking for a carpal tunnel syndrome treatment, don’t fret… because we’ve got some great news for you…

Actually the good news comes from Geoffrey Hunt, a certified personal fitness trainer, exercise rehab specialist (both for 10+ years), and carpal tunnel survivor, who has released a total, tell-all video explaining the causes of carpal tunnel syndrome and how to cure it completely.

Watch Geoffrey’s FREE Video On Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment Here.

It is important to note that the data released in this video has been supported by scientific evidence time and time again.

But what about the usual remedies we hear about?

Well… they’re not so scientific.

After all, take a look at the following carpal tunnel syndrome treatment “solutions”. How many of these have you tried with no results?

  • prolonged rest
  • painkillers and anti-inflammatories
  • transdermal creams
  • braces
  • massage therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy
  • cortisone shots
  • surgeries
  • changing jobs – or not working at all
  • giving up on your favorite activity… for good

Multitudes of other workers have gone through the same problem as you have.

According to the American Occupational Practice Guidelines, about 20% of all worker’s compensation claims deal with complaints resembling carpal tunnel.

They also state that carpal tunnel syndrome lasts longer (in terms of disease and disability duration) for it than for repetitive disorders elsewhere in the body.

Greatly responsible for these trends are the above “remedies” which are given over and over again.  Without question, the results from these typical interventions are the same – they have never cured carpal tunnel syndrome for anyone.

And chances are they won’t for anyone – ever.

Why not?

Because carpal tunnel syndrome is a chronic disorder – this means that it doesn’t just come and go like a bruise on your toe.

It lasts a whole lot longer.

Considering the course of carpal tunnel syndrome lasts longer, the amount of rest you need also is longer – in fact, it’s too much to do you any good.

A lot of rest causes your muscles to debilitate, meaning they will weaken more than what they are now.

So what helps get rid of the cause of carpal tunnel syndrome?

The Proper Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment – What Does The Video Say?

If you want to get rid of your carpal tunnel pain for good, here a few perils worth mentioning:

To get rid of pain, it makes sense to do it quickly and easily, not to take months (or even years) to do it.

Likewise, if you want to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, find just the ONE cause, and terminate it completely.

And lastly, for sure don’t try anything that will make things worse!

That’s the icing… now here’s the cake.

What You’ll See In This Video

In this video Geoffrey discusses:

  • his own debilitating experience with carpal tunnel syndrome, and how he developed his special carpal tunnel syndrome treatment system to eliminate it for good (not just to mask the symptoms but to cure it)
  • how typically recommended carpal tunnel syndrome treatment measures (that he initially tried) may actually be worsening your condition
  • the important steps you need to take in order to avoid shelling out hundreds of dollars to health providers, especially when they can’t do anything for you!
  • what carpal tunnel syndrome is, and what causes it (about 95% of cases are misdiagnosed as carpal tunnel!)
  • how you can get superior results without joining a gym or buying a system that requires you to purchase equipment or even pills to get results
  • the steps you need to take to perform basic, yet essential, tasks around the house without being crippled doing it
  • how doing the right things can not only eliminate your pain in 3 days, but take less than 5 minutes to do… all in the comfort of your own home
  • how you don’t have to compensate for deconditioning by changing your daily habits, giving up work, or canceling your favorite past times because of your injury
  • and lots and lots more (this video is on the long side)

What Do I Need To Do Now?

The first thing you need to do is have a look at this video and the carpal tunnel treatment solutions he discusses.  Then, follow the proper steps he suggests.

Finally, come back here to post your comments about it.  I’d love to hear your feedback on his video.

Best of luck.

A Simple Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment You Can Try At Home

Easy carpal tunnel syndrome treatment techniques

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a problem that affects many people across all age groups, particular those in the workforce. This painful condition is characterized by numbness and tingling in the wrist and hand, and pain or discomfort in the forearm, wrist and fingers.   Having this condition may inhibit free movement, grip force and dexterity of the arm and fingers.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused when the median nerve, which is located in the wrist, is compressed by the surrounding tendons and carpal bones.  In some cases where there is excess fluid the tunnel may be compressed even more.

This painful condition is developed with overuse of the hands or wrists or with rapid weight gain during pregnancy.

Treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome can range from home remedies to surgery which eases or eliminate the pressure on the nerve. Before you go under the knife for relief, it is suggested you take the conservative route.  Read more about a very effective, natural and inexpensive route that you can try at home.

In the meantime, here are some commonly suggested carpal tunnel syndrome treatment measures.

Give it a Rest

The easiest carpal tunnel syndrome treatment to relieve the pressure and pain in the wrist is to allow it to rest. Carpal tunnel syndrome often flares and gets worse with overuse. Excess typing or writing can cause the pain to become worse. To relieve the pressure, elevate your wrists above your heart and allow the blood to flow freely throughout the hand and wrist. Take frequent breaks to prevent and alleviate the pressure.

Watch Your Posture

Not necessarily a carpal tunnel syndrome treatment, but your hand position is a huge factor in managing the pain of carpal tunnel syndrome. Keep the wrist straight and flat, making sure not to bend your wrist downward when typing. Ergonomic keyboards and wrist rests with gel pads can help take the pressure off of your aching wrists. If a wrist rest is not available, use a book or other firm object to keep the wrist flat.

Ice Down

Carpal tunnel syndrome can become worse when the tissues in the hand and wrist become inflamed due to bloating and swelling. Use an ice pack to ease the pain and soothe the muscle and tendons. Lightly massage the area, loosening and cooling the muscles.

5 Carpal Tunnel Symptoms And How To Cure Them Forever…

The symptoms terminated with carpal tunnel syndrome treatment remedies

Carpal tunnel syndrome has several key and common symptoms that produce difficulties for many adults. This condition occurs after performing repetitive motions that stress the wrist and the structures around it.  It can lead to further problems if not treated. There are several ways to begin treating this condition – I’ve listed the most effective, quickest and least expensive way here. Before that, let’s take some time to understand the 5 carpal tunnel symptoms before learning how to cure them forever with carpal tunnel syndrome treatment.

  • Numbness and tingling is often the first symptom that people begin to notice. This may center on one area or spread up the arm or down into the hand, usually the first three fingers and the thumb-side of the fourth. Several interventions have been suggested to combat this, such as gentle stretches, ice and exercise bands. However, none of these have been proven as effective by themselves.
  • Stiffness in the joints within the wrist may occur after sleep. Adults may wake up feeling stiff and have sore joints. To cope with this, a wrist guard or splint may be used during sleep. These will keep the area in proper position (neutral or slight extension), preventing it from flexing in ways that can lead to stiffness or nerve compression.  Again, the guard by itself is not the prime solution to carpal tunnel resolution.
  • Fatigue commonly occurs in arms affected by carpal tunnel. To prevent this, frequent breaks are commonly advised. During these breaks, stretches or other tasks should be completed. This, when combined with the other necessary carpal tunnel syndrome treatment techniques, provides more variety for muscles and prevents deconditioning and repetitive strain.
  • Swelling is another frequent symptom to carpal tunnel. It may occur at the joints or throughout the arm. This may happen when the veins cannot drain the inflammation in the area (since there’s so much of it). Ice is helpful in reducing the inflammation, which in turn reduces the swelling.
  • Compression can occur on the median nerve in obese individuals as there is extra pressure from the extra weight. For this reason, many who suffer from carpal tunnel are urged to shed excess weight. This can help alleviate the pressure on nerves and joints. Weight loss (or fat loss) may need to be monitored by a physician if there are other health concerns.

Now that we know the symptoms and signs of carpal tunnel syndrome, how about trying to get rid of it?

I caution you… before you think about getting surgery, give the all natural carpal tunnel syndrome treatment methods a shot. They work for a surprising number of people suffering from carpal tunnel. Most of the time it’s something that can be fixed pretty quickly.

5 Basic Carpal Tunnel Exercises for Carpal Tunnel Symptoms

Basic Carpal Tunnel Exercises Useful For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a painful nerve condition of the wrist, which arises from overuse or repetitive motion of the forearm, wrist or hand. Keep in mind that carpal tunnel exercises, although commonly used for carpal tunnel syndrome treatment, should NOT be undertaken as the ONLY way to relieve this condition. These exercises work extremely well if you are also doing the other necessary things that help eliminate  CTS.  For more information as to the BEST routine to alleviate carpal tunnel syndrome, check out this article here.

In any case, try these carpal tunnel syndrome treatment exercises gently to make sure you don’t do more harm than good, and always see a doctor if carpal tunnel symptoms worsen.  As usual, it is advised that you also see your doctor before commencing ANY exercise program.

1.Warm Up. Before engaging in specific carpal tunnel syndrome treatment exercises, you need to warm up.  Here’s how: Hold your arms straight out in front of you, palms face up. Flex your wrists (i.e., so that your palms face toward you) so that your fingers point to the ceiling. Hold that position for five seconds, then relax and let your fingers hang down, loosely – make sure you keep your arms straight out in front. Now, turn your forearms over (your palms should now be face down) make a fist with both hands and squeeze hard, then flex your wrists down, hold for five seconds and relax. Lower your arms to your sides and shake your fingers gently. Repeat this exercise ten times.

2.Nerve-Gliding Finger Exercise. For this carpal tunnel syndrome treatment start with hands extended, fingers straight and level with your wrist. Curl your fingers into a hook, then straighten. Curl your fingers into a fist, then straighten. Bend your fingers so they are perpendicular to your wrist. This is three different motions.  Repeat this sequence ten times.

3.Nerve-Gliding Thumb Exercise. With your forearm face down, parallel to the floor (you may keep your elbow bent) make a fist, then straighten your fingers and thumb. Flex your wrist back, and move your thumb as far from your palm as possible. Hold this position for five seconds. Flip your wrist so your palm faces up. Take hold of your thumb with your other hand and gently stretch it away from your palm. Hold for five seconds, then repeat this entire sequence four more times for a total of five times. A very good carpal tunnel syndrome treatment.

4.Shoulder Exercise. Carpal tunnel symptoms may also be eased by stretching shoulder muscles, particularly your scapular stabilizers (the muscles that stabilize your shoulder blades).  These can be done standing or sitting. Begin with your shoulders in a neutral position. Raise both shoulders, roll them back, down, forward and up, returning to a neutral position. Repeat for a total of five times.

5.Neck Exercise. Keeping your neck tension-free will take tension off your shoulders, which subsequently may help ease carpal tunnel pain. Let your head fall gently forward of its own weight. Roll it to the left shoulder, then back, allowing your jaw to relax. Roll to the right shoulder, then forward and then repeat. Essentially you’re just rotating your neck/head around in counter-clockwise direction. It is not necessary to totally rotate your head to the left or right in for this exercise – in fact, avoid doing so as this may lock the facet joints in the back of the neck in some people.  Repeat for a total of five times.

As stated, these exercises are very carpal tunnel syndrome treatment if combined with the proper, best way to treat carpal tunnel syndrome. If you’d like to learn more about the proper way to treat your carpal tunnel pain effectively and naturally then check out this important article here.

Have Wrist Pain? Do Common Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment Techniques Work?

The Truth About Commonly Advised Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment Inverventions

Many folks must put up with the excruciating symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) daily. These symptoms include wrist pain, weakness, numbness/tingling and sometimes cold or stiff finger joints. Many times, symptoms become even more troublesome at night and after an arduous day at work.

Although many people are familiar with the manifestations of carpal tunnel syndrome, not everyone understands exactly how the condition occurs. Typically, carpal tunnel symptoms materialize after the wrist has become injured through repetitive strain. The median nerve, which is responsible for transmitting feeling to the wrist and hands, becomes compressed. This creates pain, discomfort and weakness experienced by carpal tunnel patients.

Several carpal tunnel syndrome treatment options exist, but the most popular ones, such as the ones listed below, are not a cure-all for CTS.

NOTE: there is now a simple, inexpensive way to deal with these debilitating symptoms – even cure them.  Please check this article out for more information.

Some simple carpal tunnel syndrome treatment interventions that many individuals undertake (but are not as effective as the one in the above link) include massage, ice therapy, joint support gloves and anti-inflammatory medications.

Massage

The first carpal tunnel syndrome treatment is massage. Many individuals who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms find a little relief through gentle massage techniques which focus on the base of the hand where the most flesh is found. One should have the massage performed by a registered massage therapist, a chiropractor or a physical therapist.  Do not attempt to do this by yourself!  In some cases, significant relief can be found when the massage is performed consistently two to three times each week.

Ice

Another carpal tunnel syndrome treatment that is advised is ice therapy. The application of an ice pack to the inside of the painful wrist for approximately ten minutes is thought to relieve the majority of symptoms for up to two hours. Ice calms inflammation and reduces swelling, which relieves the compression surrounding the nerve.  However, again, this does not and will not eliminate carpal tunnel syndrome.

Joint Support Gloves

Gentle-compression gloves are used to capture the body heat of the wearer inside the hand and wrists.  There are a wide variety of joint support gloves available and it is not difficult for a person to find a style that fits his or her budget. However, although these gloves reduce muscle and joint soreness somewhat they do not relieve any nerve compression which, unfortunately, is what we actually need done in order to get rid of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Medications

I do not advise taking medications or seeking professional consultation for prescription drugs to alleviate carpal tunnel syndrome, even for certain non-habit forming medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen. These make for a poor carpal tunnel syndrome treatment. Often, patients do find substantial relief from their symptoms by opting for a combination of anti-inflammatory medications and one or more of the treatments listed above. However, medications not only fail to solve the root of the problem, but they can lead to side effects.  If you are taking prescription drugs please consult a physician about changing a medical treatment regimen for carpal tunnel syndrome.
